Well done to everyone who was recognised today at our 1st New Waltham Awards and Celebration Ceremony, what an absolute privilege to lead the awards supported by our wonderful volunteers, and a huge well done to our winner of the GSL Award 2024!

We hope all of our young members and adults enjoyed this afternoon, we think Paul from 100% Entertainment, they did a great job.

We also held our AGM and as we say goodbye and thank you to our exiting Trustees, we welcome our newly elected members.

Due to some of our beavers moving up to cubs, and our squirrels not being quite old enough to move up to beavers, we do have a couple of spaces at Beavers.
Beavers are 6-8yrs old and we welcome both girls and boys to join us in learning skills for life, meeting new friends and having some fun along the way.
If you are interested in your young person joining us, we do have a couple of spaces available.

Scouting For Litter ⚜️

James spent a lovely early evening taking the little legends of 1st New Waltham - Grimsby - Beaver, Cub and Scout Group | Grimsby | Facebook on a tour upstream.

We had a nature i-spy, witnessed our amazing blow wells, and gave back to nature with a litter pick ⚜️

They achieved certain elements of their environmental and conservation badges, and best of all.........they inadvertently got their Hikes badge!

The Power Of The Kids 🧒🧒

Young people are so inquisitive and curious. This allows them to engage and be willing to learn, and it also inspires us oldies to slow down and take a closer look at what's around us. This is so valuable when it comes to reconnecting with nature and improving well-being.

So a big thank you to all you little legends that helped us all to stop, look, and listen for a while 💚
