James spent a lovely early evening taking the little legends of 1st New Waltham - Grimsby - Beaver, Cub and Scout Group | Grimsby | Facebook on a tour upstream.
We had a nature i-spy, witnessed our amazing blow wells, and gave back to nature with a litter pick
They achieved certain elements of their environmental and conservation badges, and best of all.........they inadvertently got their Hikes badge!
The Power Of The Kids 
Young people are so inquisitive and curious. This allows them to engage and be willing to learn, and it also inspires us oldies to slow down and take a closer look at what's around us. This is so valuable when it comes to reconnecting with nature and improving well-being.
So a big thank you to all you little legends that helped us all to stop, look, and listen for a while
