Well, what to say!

Well done to everyone who was recognised today at our 1st New Waltham Awards and Celebration Ceremony what an absolute privilege to lead the awards supported by our wonderful volunteers.

Our awards ceremony recognised everyone who has gained a Chief Award and included other award categories such as Scouts Scout Award, Leaders Choice Award, Section Awards and Helpful Awards.

We also recognised our scouts in the Scout Volunteers Recognition Award.

The GSL Endeavour Award recognised our young members personal achievements.

Finally, the GSL Cup... For this category two members from each group were nominated. It was a very difficult category to choose from, thankfully one which our District Commissioners made for us.

Nominations were detailed on certificates, which were not only great to read, but everyone nominated should be very proud of their nominations.

It was my privilege to award the GSL Cup to Thomas well done... the celebrations did not end there, Thomas also received a Scouts Volunteer Recognition Award and the Scouts Scout award as nominated by his fellow scouts.

It was also my pleasure to present Thomas with his Chief Gold Award - well done!
